I'm Lindsay

Your Vermont wedding Photographer, Planning Consultant, local expert & Creative Instigator

Often I hear at the start of a photo session, “I hate having my picture taken!” Of-course you do!

Growing up, the usual way we were all photographed started with Mom making you wear some ugly itchy sweater, standing in front of a weird backdrop, while a photographer coaxed you to “say cheese!” Leaving your face all squinched up and not at all flattering. I promise, I won’t ask you to say cheese! Unless you really want me to.   At the end of our portrait session together you may even say, “That was fun!”

fun facts:

• I met my husband in college on the very first day in the very first class, sociology 101

• I have a print archived at the George Eastman Museum library. It’s a photo of my father’s daffodils taken with film with a 1932 expiration date

• There are at least 3 jars of pickles opened in my fridge right now.

My goal is to take a natural, stress-free and unobtrusive approach to creating heirloom imagery for you and your family.

From a casual family portrait on the shore of Vermont’s beautiful lake Champlain to the last moment of your wedding day as you drive off into the sunset, I love to photograph you in real, meaningful settings that pause who you are right now and what you love.

I work hard to make sure the entire process is stress-free for everyone from start to finish, with the end result being beautifully crafted photo prints and products to be treasured for many years to come.

Many of the people I photograph become friends that I get to photograph year after year.

“Lindsay was so easy to work with and she is very relaxing to be around on your wedding day when things can get stressful.

We haven’t gotten my pictures back yet but I know they will be amazing!!”
