ONE: You don’t need to plan out every moment of your day. Leave some room for the little moments that you can’t possibly plan. (Or the fun surprises that your friends and family may have planned for you!)
TWO: When making your schedule, there are 2 times you want to stick to:
Invited Ceremony time: It’s ok to be fashionably late. But remember, nothing starts without the bride and groom. And those rented folding chairs are only comfy for so long.
The Scheduled Dinner Time: If it’s your best friend or a hired chef, your caterer has been working really hard (probably for days) to make sure you and all your guests have yummy food for your big day!! Make sure there efforts aren’t wasted.
Everything else throughout your day can flow.
THREE: Plan on at least 30 min just to get into your wedding gown. Yes, really 30min. It goes by quick, and you don’t want to rush.
FOUR: Pick your spot for family and wedding party pictures at least the day before. Let your VIP family and friends know where they should be at what time. This gets your wish list checked off and get your guests back to the party asap!
FIVE: Sometimes things don’t quite go as you planned. That’s ok! Be sure to talk with your photographer and make flexible and/or alternative plans for formals, just in case.
