Bella & Loni were looking for the winter wonderland elopement wedding with a private and romantic getaway. They grew up in a part in Texas where there is no snow and Vermont was perfect for it. They searched for the perfect Northern Vermont spot and they came across a rental just up the hill from Lake Elmore, in Elmore Vermont. A beautiful farm with a the perfect Vermont red barn, cows, and the kind of view that you see in your dreams. So they booked the rental, rented a truck (for driving in snow!), grabbed Bella’s sister and her best friend, and the four of them headed north to get Bella & Loni hitched!
Bella mentioned that she REALLY wanted pictures with snow falling. I hoped that Mama Nature would oblige the lovely bride and toss a few flakes our way, and we got our wish!! Shortly after their wedding officiant, Kathryn Blume, had the couple saying their official “I do,” the most perfect, fluffy, Vermont snowflakes started to fall. We got some truly magical photos for the gals from Texas!
Bella carried a bouquet of silk red and white poinsettias with a few handmade paper flowers tucked into the bunch. The paper flowers were made by Loni from maps and given to Bella when she proposed.
