On a walk a few days before Christmas, Jason asked Kristyn to marry him on the lawn, in the snow at Richmond’s Round Church. So when it came time to pick a spot for their engagement session, there really was only one option. The Round Church, also known as the Old Round Church, is a historic church on Round Church Road in Richmond, Vermont. Built in 1812-1813, it is a rare, well-preserved example of a sixteen-sided meeting house
We started the engagement session with a walk in the woods behind the couple’s home with their golden retriever, Brooks! It was clear that we were in Brooks‘ turf. She lead the way up the path to one of Kris and Jason’s favorites spots.
After our quick walk in the woods, we headed down the street to Richmond’s Round Church for some sledding! Nothing like a good ol’ Vermont sledding spot!
