A romantic, fishing adventure to Clifford’s pond, Starksboro, VT to create engagement images.

Danielle and Corey | Engagement

Over coffee at the Bristol Bakery & Cafe in Heinsberg, VT  Danielle and Corey told me about one of their favorite spots, Clifford’s Pond in Starksboro, VT.  So of-course we made plans to venture out to the pond for their fishing themed engagement session!

The road to get up to the pond is an old logging road. If you have a low clearance vehicle, you don’t want to try it. Lucky for me, I met up with Corey and Danielle and hopped into Corey’s truck for the ride up to the pond. As we rounded the final turn, the pond came into view. The late summer afternoon light danced over the pine trees and sparkled on the pond. I can see why this is a favorite spot. We grabbed the tackle box and fishing poles and headed for the floating dock on the east side of the pond.

After a few bobber casts into the pond and a few cute shots of Danielle and Corey on the dock, we decided to head over by the rock wall for a little change of scenery. As Corey picked up the tackle box and shack his head, I heard him say, “I can’t believe I let her paint up a perfectly good tackle box.” I burst out laughing. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.

I can’t wait to see you guys get hitched at The Barns at Lang Farm next summer!!
